Godmode Inc. is a technology company built on the principle that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information across our websites and products, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate our services:
- Contact enquiries: When you contact us via hello@godmodeon.com or our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message
- Purchase information: When you purchase GhostPrompt, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive only your email address and purchase confirmation. We never see or store your payment card details
- Website analytics: We may collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site) to improve our website. This data is not linked to any individual
2. GhostPrompt: Local Processing
GhostPrompt is designed from the ground up to process your documents entirely on your own device. We do not receive, store, or have access to any documents, text, or data you process through GhostPrompt. All entity detection and replacement occurs locally. This is a core product principle, not a policy that can change at our discretion.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- Deliver software licences and product updates you have purchased
- Communicate material changes to our products or policies
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services:
- Stripe: Payment processing for GhostPrompt purchases. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data
- Resend: Transactional email delivery (licence keys, purchase confirmations)
- Google Fonts: Typefaces loaded on our websites. Google may collect limited data per their privacy policy
5. Data Retention
We retain your contact information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. Purchase records are retained for seven years in accordance with Canadian tax law.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information
